Ken Abbarno, Widely Respected Within Commercial Transportation Industry, Joins National Plaintiffs’ Firm
CLEVELAND, September 6, 2017 – DiCello Levitt LLC (DLC), a national plaintiffs’ law firm with offices in Cleveland and Chicago, announces the arrival of veteran litigator Ken Abbarno as a partner in its Cleveland office. Abbarno brings with him nearly 25 years of experience as a trial attorney in matters ranging from trucking and commercial transportation liability to medical malpractice lawsuits.
During his career, including over two decades spent at multi-state law firm, Reminger Co. LPA, Abbarno has established himself as one of the preeminent attorneys litigating transportation accident claims. His career is defined by his success in litigating high stakes matters, both on the plaintiff and defense sides of the bar. He has been involved in well over 100 cases of exposure in excess of $1,000,000, including lead roles in the resolution of individual transportation injury claims of $40 million and $20+ million respectively.
Abbarno’s virtually unmatched trucking litigation experience makes him an invaluable addition to the plaintiffs’ team inIn re Navistar Maxxforce Engines Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, the multidistrict case pending in the Northern District of Illinois, in which DLC serves as co-lead counsel. He will also handle an array of other catastrophic tort and complex litigation cases.
Selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer each year from 2010-2017, Abbarno has tried over 50 civil lawsuits to verdict, including catastrophic injury cases, transportation industry litigation, toxic torts, products liability, professionally liability, employer intentional tort and other complex litigation.

He is a frequent writer and lecturer on commercial transportation topics, addressing legal issues related to the trucking industry, such as truck accident liability and the relationship between truck drivers and their employers.
Abbarno previously served as vice chair of the American Bar Association’s committee on commercial transportation litigation. He also maintains membership in the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, and the Ohio Association for Justice.
