DiCello Levitt ‘s 50-State Class Action Complaint Against Marriott Receives National Media Attention

On January 9, 2019, DiCello Levitt and co-counsel filed a 50-state class action lawsuit against Marriott and Starwood Hotels. The complaint alleges Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide LLC failed to secure personally identifiable information such as passport information, customers’ names, mailing addresses, and payment card data, including credit and debit card numbers. Marriott has acknowledged that almost 400 million unique guests may have been affected by the data breach.
