Reuters Features Ad Price Fixing Lawsuit Against Sinclair, Tribune Media

The antitrust class action lawsuit filed by DiCello Levitt on behalf of Bon-Ton Stores against Sinclair Broadcast Group, Tribune Media Company and their co-conspirators, was featured in the article, “Stay tuned: Fight to lead local TV ad price-fixing MDL is coming right up,” published in Reuters on October 8, 2018. The article addresses the suit recently filed against two of the nation’s largest media conglomerates alleging a conspiracy to fix the prices of local TV advertisements, violating federal antitrust laws. “On Friday, after the MDL was established, the national department store Bon-Ton filed a complaint in federal court in Chicago that will be part of the case. According to Bon-Ton lawyer Adam Levitt of DiCello Levitt (who’s co-counseling with Labaton Sucharow), the store chain is by far the largest business, with the largest advertising expenditures, to enter the litigation so far.”
